Photography is one of the most unique art forms in the world.
Through it, we can observe both the seen and the unseen with the naked eye. It is a highly developed technology that allows us to capture and preserve memories, either as a visual frame or as a photograph itself.
With this powerful medium, I, Ransara Ubesinghe, have stepped into the world of photography. I entered this field at the age of 18, without even owning a camera. However, using just the camera on my smartphone—something almost everyone has today—I was able to take significant steps forward. In 2022, I created a photography Facebook page under my name and began this journey purely as a hobby through mobile phone photography. Over time, I developed a strong passion to capture artistic photographs with a professional camera.
Though the journey was challenging, it was also filled with valuable experiences and unforgettable moments. Eventually, I acquired a camera and continued my path forward, knowing that photography is not merely a source of enjoyment for me.
Even today, I consider myself a beginner in this ever-evolving artistic field that grows alongside global trends. Photography has now become more than just an art—it has grown into a profession and even a source of income. With rising demand for genres like wildlife photography and various photoshoots, I am determined to continue pursuing this journey and reach new heights
